Getting older is wonderful. This weekend, I end my decade in the 50s. Awww. . . it’s been a tremendous ride along the sharp curves, bumpy roads, and smooth sailing of ten more years of life. As I sift back through some of the highlights of my years past 49, I decided to share a photo montage with inspiring quotes about aging. So tighten your seatbelt and hang on for a colorful ride with this almost 60-year-old. Woooo hoooo! The best is yet to come!

Becoming an elder is a ripening process. Each decade is a great benchmark on our earth walk. It is holy and to be celebrated.
I marked my 70th year with a seven mile hike at over 9000′ at Twin Lakes with golden aspen leaves on the trail. It is a treasured memory and supports my commitment to living with vitality each day I AM given.
Chuck, what great words. I applaud you for marking your 70th year with such a grand and beautiful hike. At 40, I climbed Pikes Peak and hope to add several more adventures on birthdays ahead. I share your perspective on living each new day with vitality.
Beautiful pictures and beautiful words! ❤️
Thank you so much, my friend. Much beauty and beautiful words to enjoy in this new decade.
